Two Brazilian Steel Dances
 |
|
I) Interlude, II) Baião, Interlude, III) Samba (Partido Alto). These two exciting pieces are a unique in the percussion literature. The first dance is a baiao in a fugue like form. The second is a samba partido alto. A calm interlude in tempo di valsa separates the two dances. A natural marriage of style and instrumentation, this work will add an extraordinary dimension to any steel band concert. A must for every steel band. |
