Two very enjoyable pieces that introduce some of the main Brazilian rhythms for beginners. The percussion part can be played by several players.

Program Notes:
I) Baiao – After samba, the baiao is the most popular rhythm played in Brazil. It is performed by a trio consisting in accordion, bass drum and triangle.
II) Frevo is the carnival music from Northeastern Brazil. This frantic dance is traditionally played in the streets by brass and percussion instruments.
